Any idea if it makes sense for non-student startups to participate in it?
Especially, I found that the winners of the contest get a pretty small sum for 'starting up' and that too in stacks of 25% over a period of 4 months. This makes me feel that the contest has been created only fr students.
Further, the winners will get 'mentorship' to create a biz plan and not direct funding if the first cut bPlan is found to be good .. which again makes the reward unattractive ...
However, any idea if the situation on ground is diff - i.e. do companies who win here get funded BIG TIME!! ??
Yes, It is open for working professionals and the mentoring is provided by entrepreneurs, VCs and industry experts which make it one of the most relevant support system to launch a start up....
